A partnership built around operational work
Axton Group LTD Japan has entered into a commercial partnership with Fluyenta / AK Digital to bring enterprise workflow automation and process orchestration to organizations in Japan. The relationship combines Axton’s Japan-side business and engineering understanding with Fluyenta’s technology and enterprise automation experience.
The starting point is a process that crosses boundaries: a supplier application that needs several approvals, a subcontractor document that moves between a project office and headquarters, or a purchase request that must reach a business system. Buying another application does not, by itself, resolve the handoffs around that process. The work includes understanding responsibilities, data, exceptions and the conditions under which a decision can be made.
What each company contributes
Axton handles local communication, customer engagement, workflow discovery and commercial coordination. We work with the business owner to describe how the process operates today and where a change would be useful. Construction and infrastructure are a priority because they connect with Axton’s existing business areas and operational relationships.
Fluyenta contributes enterprise workflow technology, integrations, external portals and AI-enabled orchestration. The 20+ years of enterprise automation experience referenced in this partnership belongs to Fluyenta, not to Axton. Axton was founded in 2018. Fluyenta’s official company background describes the company’s relationship to AK Digital and RunMyProcess, and distinguishes its current DigitalSuite platform from RunMyProcess DigitalSuite. The shared history does not mean the platforms are technically identical.
Axton Group LTD JapanWhat Japanese organizations can explore
The partnership creates a route to discuss processes that currently rely on email, spreadsheets and repeated data entry. Available interfaces can connect ERP, CRM, legacy systems, databases and SaaS applications. Approval flows can assign owners, carry information between stages and preserve a record of decisions. Controlled portals can let suppliers or subcontractors participate without giving them broad access to internal systems.
AI can assist tasks such as document extraction, classification and summarization inside that process. It needs defined access, review responsibilities and exception handling. A generated summary should not silently replace a reviewer’s decision. The proposed workflow must make clear who checks the output and what happens when it is incomplete or wrong.
An example, with its source made clear
In the anonymized partner example presented here, a multi-location organization was managing supplier onboarding by phone and email. A digital sequence collects supplier information, validates it, routes it to a manager, maintains structured records and makes status visible across locations. This draws on Fluyenta / RunMyProcess experience. It is not a completed Axton project, and no client name or measured performance result is published.
The construction portal, procurement and manufacturing handover examples on our enterprise page are illustrative solution scenarios. They show possible process designs for a discovery conversation. They are not customer case studies. Keeping that distinction visible helps a buyer evaluate the approach without confusing a proposed solution with delivered proof.
A focused first release
The delivery philosophy is to avoid unnecessary months of transformation activity by defining a manageable first process. Low-code orchestration and reusable integration capabilities can help shorten implementation. The actual schedule still depends on scope, access to systems, data quality, security review and business approvals.
A discovery conversation should end with an agreed problem and a useful next step. That may be a process map, an interface review or a first-release brief with acceptance criteria. Before delivery, the organization and implementation team need to agree how the process will be tested, who owns it after launch and how improvements will be measured.
The wider Axton business remains
Enterprise automation strengthens Axton’s IT and digital systems capability alongside construction and infrastructure, environmental engineering, cybersecurity and creative work. Websites, custom systems, CRM and search improvement remain available where they fit the need. For a broader process challenge, Axton and Fluyenta can help assess how people and systems should work together before choosing what to build.
